Help us raise £20,000 for Children In Need during national shoe repair week. The shoe repair industry is getting on its bike & cycling for recycling by riding Felicity Kendall's shoes from Aberdeen to Portsmouth in a round Britain challenge from Friday 5th September to Tuesdays the 9th September 2008.

The Girls from team "Shoe-String" raising awareness at this years Harborough Carnival.

Felicity's (click here to find out more about Felicity Kendall CBE) shoes will be Soled, Heeled & Polished along the way, please make a donation with the link on the right hand side, sign up to the news letter to get all the latest news as the event approaches or sign up if your ready to get on your bike or help out in any way.

Its time for you to get involved & we need your support! We need repairers, wholesalers & manufacturers to offer support or a cycling team to complete the task.

The route is sectioned into 20 mile stages & to maximise the sponsorship & publicity potential we need cyclists or teams of cyclists to complete each stage to relay the shoes to the finish line.

At the start of the challenge the shoes will be soled, in the middle they will be heeled & at the end will be polished ready for wear.

You don’t have to cycle the full 20 miles but if you pledge to ride, you have to have enough in your team to complete the full 20 mile stint.

If your not up to cycling then we also need to man a support vehicle so why not help out on route?

Scroll down to see the sections list & those which are covered so far.
